Jan Duncan and Glen Hast- A Wedding with Red Roses and White Snow — 0
Jan Duncan, a Knoxville native, met Glen in Colorado where they both now live and work. They came back to Knoxville to share their big day with family at Crescent Bend. A dusting of light snow covered Knoxville and highlighted the red roses Jan had chosen to showcase the wedding day. It is always special when family heirlooms can be part of a bride’s day. Jan was given a Tennessee pearl and diamond necklace by her grandmother, Ruby Day Phillips, very simple but elegant and had a sixpence in her shoe to bring her good luck. All the best to Jan and Glen as they start their new life out west in Colorado with their many cats…. To see all the previews go to http://www.seatonshoots.com/previews

A Rainbow Wedding- Macqueline Pickney and Nathan Foss — 0
Macqueline and Nathan tied the knot October 9, 2009 at Tellico Yacht Club in Loudon, Tennessee. The best thing about it besides really superb flowers by Lisa Foster (outdoes herself again!!) and rocking music by the Retroholics was the event that was totally unplanned… an incredible rainbow. That has really got to mean good luck in marriage. The ceremony was held off for about twenty minutes, the sky cleared and what an awesome sight.

Missi Denton and Matt Weyer- July Orange and Teal Wedding — 0
Missi picked up great colors for their summer wedding. Teal and vibrant orange along with a fun beach theme. Missi was way too organized and had thought of all the details– thinking that mom did help a bit.. . Really cool was the orange chinese parasols. We photographed her sister Jennifer’s wedding last year and it made it all the better to see parents and family again. They already knew Barry and what he is (usually ) up to!! We started portraits at the Montessori Garden in Fountain City and then headed to Sonlight Baptist Church to cool off! and then got ready for Missi and Matt to tie the knot. After a beautiful service and one Barry’s fun group photos all the bridal party got on the trolley and headed uptown or really downtown for fun pics in Krutch Park and up the elevator to Club Leconte… and yes it was really nice to enjoy the air-conditioning at that point.
What a fun party they had, steel drum music and goldfish swimming in the vases on all the tables. Think the best was the speeches made by Missi’s parents and Matt’s friends.. I didn’t even know these guys and was in tears…
